Piazzolla revient à Fontainebleau

70 years ago Astor Piazzolla came to France to study with the legendary pedagogue Nadia Boulanger in Paris and Festival Fontainebleau. Thanks to that trip, Piazzolla stood for his artistic identity and music language. This Summer, Dan Zhu returns to the same festival (Alumni 2003) to give masterclass to the selected students from the top music institutions in the US, such as Colburn, Curtis, Juilliard, New England, etc. Watch the Final concert of Festival Musique & Architecture au Château de Fontainebleau 2025 as soloist & artistic leader with l'Ensemble de Cordes du Festival des Écoles d'Art Américaines de Fontainebleau and composer, ancient music specialist Pierre-Alain Weppe at the harpsichord for the program - Vivaldi & Piazzolla "Seasons", at the magnificent Chapelle de la Trinité in the Château de Fontainebleau, France.
