Tribute Concert to Shirley Young

Dan Zhu gave a tribute performance in memory of Mme. Shirley Young at the Opera House of Shanghai Conservatory of Music.

This tribute concert in memory and celebration of Mme. Shirley Young’s life achievement and inspiration, the pioneer figure of global cultural exchange. Dan Zhu as violin soloist gave a world premiere of “Another Song to the Moon” for violin and chamber orchestra by composer Tian-Peng Gong in collaboration with distinguished artists, Tan Dun, Huang Dou-Dou, Chang-Yong Liao, Ying Huang, and musicians from the Bard College shared stage for this special performance at the Opera House of Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
